Fines for distorted statements about the May 18 democracy movement

There was major controversy over an article stating that broadcasts of false claims such as “the North Korean military led the May 18 democratic uprising” could be fined up to 1 billion won. It is certainly worth publishing, as it clearly raises the issue of regulating historical distortion and misinformation.
